Timeless Biblical Truth.

When believers feel that the LORD has abandoned them they can press their appeal with reasons why He should answer their prayer and then expresses their confidence in Him with praise.

  1. Believers may express their feeling of being abandoned to the LORD when He does not answer their prayers immediately (13:1-2).
  2. Believers may give reasons to the LORD why He should answer their prayers (13:3-4).
  3. Believers then express their confidence in the LORD by praising Him in anticipation of His answer (13: 5-6).
