Believers who are loyal to the LORD and separate themselves from evil may pray with confidence that He will vindicate them and redeem then from a common fate with the wicked.
- Believers who are facing serious opposition and are righteous may appeal to God to vindicate them (1-2).
- Believers who pray for vindication must demonstrate their loyalty to the LORD (3-9).
- Believers demonstrate their loyalty to the LORD by separating themselves from participating in evil (3-5).
- Believers demonstrate their loyalty to the LORD in proper worship in the LORD’S house (6-8).
- Loyal believers may pray with confidence and praise that they will be spared when the LORD judges the wicked (9-12).
